Our secure dog field provides a fully enclosed environment where your dogs can enjoy off-lead freedom without the worry of them running off or encountering other dogs.

Booking is simple with our easy-to-use online system, and parking is available on-site for your convenience. Whether you’re training a young pup, giving an older dog some gentle exercise, or just letting your dog blow off steam, Checkhill Farm Dog Field offers a stress-free and enjoyable experience for both you and your dog.

Alternatively if you’re looking for something different why not take a look at our Woodland Walk which offers a larger private enclosed grass space for you and your dog to explore.

How it Works

Book

Book either our Private Dog Field or Woodland Walk using our easy-to-use booking system where you can make payments securely by Credit/Debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay for your preferred date and time slot. Choose from either 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hour sessions.

Enjoy

You’ll receive an email 1 hour prior to your chosen time which contains the gate passcode to access the Dog Field or Woodland Walk. Please adhere to our rules when using the Dog Field and Woodland Walk to keep it safe and clean for everyone.

Nice and quiet, not much traffic going by at all, effectively a largeish open field on the bottom part and it goes up a small but steepish hill to the top. In the middle is where the trees are. All enclosed but the view from the top is also beautiful. Lots of lambs in the next field when I was there which was lovely to see however might send some dogs off. Overall a stunning venue, secure field and my dog loved it. Water and bowls both available as is a poo bin.

My big lurcher had the best time having a run after 3 months of lead walks due to an injury. All 3 of them enjoyed exploring and picking up new scents. It's a good sized safe field. Shelter and seating and even pooh bags are supplied. We are excited to try the Woodland Walk field next 😃
